Jack your jack around this Jack, Jack.
It's summer. Stay inside and play Jack.
Grab your flux capacitor and fire up Jack 88.
Nate's Final Episode
Jack is back. No, not that one. Unless you're thinking about us, then yes.
There's no frost on this Jack.
Ask not for whom the DisOrDat tolls...

DAMN IT (Nate)! Who the HELL are all those people in the JA? I was doing so well up to then. My score's too shameful to mention. Slightly redeeming is the little eyeball-easter-egg thing. Click between the two ads ("bundles" and "Devry") and scoot the mouse pointer up, through the stars, and just under the eyes. Hot pink and red flaming eyeballs. The dis or dat was quite easy for us wasn't it? Yay for Monotremes and living in the Lands Down Under! Hey Jellyvision...if you feel like it, pull my name off the leaderboard for this one...the game locked up completely on me after Q#6 the first time, so I had a bit of help the second time I played it. (For the record: originally, I missed two questions.) (Unlike some people, I'll admit when I had a wind-aided performance...) I did okay ($17,045 60/182),Submitted by jaamz5167 on Mon, 2008-07-14 20:53.
I did okay ($17,045 60/182), but I did feel cheated on one of the questions: (*** SPOILER ALERT!! ***) In the current genus of Trivial Pursuit, Science & Nature is now the brown wedge, and since it didn't say "original" version of the game, that probably should also be a correct answer. I'm not asking for my score to be changed (because that would signify... what?), just for Jellyvision to acknowledge that it is also a valid answer (because that would signify... okay, nothing again, but it's the principle, dangit). Rollercoastery episode forSubmitted by sinusoidally on Mon, 2008-07-14 21:34.
Rollercoastery episode for me: burned on the Jim Carey question because I didn't understand it, and the Trivial Pursuit question for the same reason listed above (I don't mind though; I'm just happy I remembered what a shoofly pie is). On the other hand, I came up with a couple of inspired guesses, laughed at the Dis or Dat tag, and aced the Jack Attack. Speaking of, while I was playing the JA, I was wondering how many people get 7/7 by getting all the answers right the first time around (i.e. without waiting until all the answers fly by and answering when they get a second crack at the clue). And then I wondered what life would be like if players were awarded an extra $2,000 for getting 7/7 the first time around. I think it could add a potentially diabolical element when people start knocking down their scores on "first sight guessing" in an attempt to reach for 16 grand. Just a random thought. OOh, I like that - I secondSubmitted by wisco teach on Tue, 2008-07-15 19:58.
OOh, I like that - I second the vote on JA scoring. Just a little something for doing it right the first time. Although, getting the prompt a second time around actually hurt me today - dang Nick Lachey... Curse you, Jellyvision, forSubmitted by Umandsf on Tue, 2008-07-15 05:37.

I did okay at this one. I aced the JA, well, except for my stupid trigger finger, but that only missed me one. Now I must go hide, I am so very ashamed of myself for knowing every answer on the JA. Yay crappy music? I'm pissed about a questionSubmitted by Game Keeper on Wed, 2008-07-16 20:37.
I'm pissed about a question too -- Trivial pursuit came out in 1982, (before I was born) and that's the version you must have been using, rather than the more recent version, which lists these colors * Blue — People and Places Which explains my confusion that Arts and Entertainment was brown (until I looked up the old version on the web) -- if there's anything wierder than a green pie, it's a pink pie. I ended up with a negative score on that episode -- mostly because although I knew all the possible choices, I had to match them up by what made sense (and it goes without saying that several of them are almost clones of each other) wow, this is a very canadianSubmitted by reachkate on Mon, 2008-07-21 20:34.
wow, this is a very canadian edition: CN Tower, trivial persuit (invented here), Jim Carrey.... thanks for the late canada day treat... i should have rocked the JA, but all I can say is "no duh" Actually, platypuses &Submitted by TheGoldenboy on Fri, 2008-07-25 03:13.
Actually, platypuses & echidnas r monotremes, meaning that they can both lay eggs & give live birth, I got lucky though & picked the right one even though they screwed up. Also, I feel stupid for thinking that Gwen Stefani was in "No Duh". Lol, 23,711, take that! 21/509, I've done better but it's still a respectable score. |
And it isn’t even the awesome, hot kind of mature content. So please use discretion.
