My YDKJ game that I bought almost 10 years ago doesn’t work on my brand-new computer!
Funny, I’m actually having a similar problem. You see, the telegraph I’ve been using since 1850 is having trouble calling my friends on their new-fangled "cellular telephones," so I’m unable to contact them to let them know that the world is flat and that the best way to cure sickness is by applying leeches to your body.

Technology changes. It changes fast and it changes often. It should really come as no surprise that you’re having trouble, as the same thing would probably happen with almost any piece of software that you bought in the mid-90s. There is no patch available, but lucky for you, our programmers came up with some fixes to make your old games run on Windows XP, and those can be found here. If the fixes don’t work, then I’m afraid all we can suggest is purchasing a newly-updated, XP-compatible game from our store.

I just got a new computer with Windows Vista! Your store says your games have been updated for Windows XP! I don’t know what to do!
Calm down, take a deep breath, count to a million. Are you calm? Okay, good. We have tested all of the games in our store on Windows Vista and they all run smoothly with exception of Volume 1XL, 2 and Sports.

My keyboard won't work when I install YDKJ 6: The Lost Gold!
Relax! This is probably a simple problem with a simple solution. All you need to do in order to remedy this is click your mouse button. Sometimes when the game loads, the game screen doesn't get selected, thus won't respond to the keyboard. But once you click your mouse, it'll select the screen and you should be good to go!

You should make YDKJ for [insert name of system: XBox, Wii, PS3]! Seriously, it would be perfect for that system! I’d buy it, and I know at least three of my friends would too.
Hey, thanks for the suggestion. Maybe we already have a version of YDKJ made for [insert name of system]! All we need now is for [insert name of company that makes (insert name of system: XBox, Wii or PS3)] to pay us a bunch of money, and we will give it to them. But only after a [insert amount of time it would take for us to make a game for {insert name of company}'s (insert name of system: XBox, Wii or PS3)] grace period. So, as soon as all that happens, we'll let you know.

Register for news updates on our site, or, even better, go to (insert name of company that makes the [insert name of system]).com and tell them what a great idea you just had. Start a petition, start a rally, don’t just sit there like a lump! Be proactive!

You should make the old YDKJ for Mac OSX!
Yes, that would be nice, wouldn’t it? When we re-issued the old games for XP, there wasn’t enough demand to warrant making them for Macs as well. Currently, we don’t have plans to re-issue the old games for Macs – we’re more focused on making new content for the website, which is all Flash-based and works great on a Mac! But if you Mac users really feel you need to purchase something from us, our T-Shirts don’t discriminate between operating systems. They're even Linux friendly!

I used to love playing Acrophobia, it was such a great game! Please tell me you are going to make it available again!
Thanks for the kind words about Acrophobia. But really, they are totally unnecessary. You’re embarrassing us! Stop it! Seriously. Knock it off. We had nothing to do with Acrophobia. This is a common mistake. As it was hosted by Berkeley Systems, which also hosted the YDKJ Netshow. Your best bet is to check Flipside, which later acquired Berkeley (though not YDKJ). The original website was www.won.net. Go bother them!

Your store has all of the old games except for Fifth Dementia!
What a bummer, huh? Unfortunately, the online component that made it work was run by a company that no longer exists. So, it no longer works. Selling you Fifth Dementia that didn't have the online capabilities would be like selling you a cow that didn't have milk or online capabilities.

I want to buy some YDKJ games, but I bought some years ago and have since lost and/or broke them.  I don’t think I should have to buy them again.
That’s a shame! I bought a car once and then I lost and/or crashed it. I called the car company and asked them to give me a new one for free, but they wouldn't. Strange, huh? Thus I'm afraid all we can offer you are our sympathies. Have you thought about purchasing Game Insurance?
